Ruby on Rails for Mashups

By | July 5, 2021

I didn’t want to just title my post Ruby on Rails because that is such a popular search term I would never rank for it, so I added the mashup modifier to it. But why am I even posting about this? Well, quite frankly I am going to try an teach myself some programming again and I thought Ruby would be a good choice. I haven’t really programmed since I did tech support at Powersoft supporting PowerBuilder. That was the mid 90’s. Client-server was in its heyday. Sure, I’ve dabbled with PHP and ASP but that doesn’t really count.

I’ve downloaded Ruby on Rails and I’m going to shop around for a good book on it hopefully this weekend. Maybe then I can code me up a website that isn’t a me-too site.
